Day 1

Good morning, and welcome to day one of your 5 day boot camp.

Success is down to taking action, actually doing something. It’s about putting one foot in front of the other and taking that next step

You want to succeed, you want more money and you want to be happy in your job and rather than sitting there waiting for the universe to drop them in your lap you now have the opportunity to take action and do something about it!

So many people drift through life not knowing what they want or not doing what makes them really happy, so well done you on taking your first steps to success.

So day 1 of the boot camp and I want to break you in gently, so today's task is just this.

Today's task is the circle of life!

(are you singing the Lion King theme yet ? gets me every time !)

Communicating with people in business is a key skill, we want to build trust with our clients and we want them to like us and want to do business with us. The easiest way to do this is to talk to them, fund out all about them and let them get to know you. The circle of life will give you 4 key areas to talk about ensuring you connect and build up trust with people quickly, speeding up the sale.

I want you to draw a circle and split it into 4, today I want us to get to know you, so you are going to tell me all about you

In the top right quarter tell me all about your family

In the top left quarter tell me all about work

In the bottom right quarter tell me all about good times and bad times in your life

In the bottom left quarter tell me your why, why do you do what you do?

Now this is the big one, because your why is the big one that will help you connect with future clients and build up trust quicker, you can use your why on your web site and social media, it’s a powerful tool

Now they say a picture tells a thousand words, so let’s use pictures only, no words and when you are done you can post it in the Hive group for us all to see.

Now I want you to write out your why in words, something around 2 paragraphs will do and post it up on social media for us all to see. You might not get this perfect today, don’t worry, it is something you can keep working on over the next few weeks until you are happy with it.
